The Ringling Museum examines Asian Stereotypes in Circus Posters

"The Ringling" has published this educational guide to understand Asian stereotypes and representation through circus posters from their collection from 1850-1950. Unfortunately many of these stereotypes persist as does the continued violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
